Last night on Khumbul’ekhaya we were lucky to be able to tell Phumlani’s story, this young man carries himself with such grace and strength, he is a true inspiration to young people in SA. He lost his mother at a young age but continued to go to school. Phumlani took a journey with Khumbul’ekhaya with the hope of finding his father, sadly he found that he has passed on but this did not deter him from his hopes and dreams. He is in his third year at the University of Zululand studying Education. We wish him all the best in his studies and hope that he will continue to inspire those around him.
