Help Find My Fathers Family

My name is Stella ( photo attached) the main purpose why I am writing to Khumbulekhaya would like you to kindly help me to find / trace my father’s family that I have never known. I had a very bad and painful childhood. My mother ’s name is Sister, Masebitsi , Mampe MOGASHOA. According to her she met with my father while she was working at Strella farm at Lesley. She was from Ga- Mogashoa, they use to be picked up by Maloba from the tribal offices of Chief MOGASHOA this was in 1966.

I have tried on several occasions to ask my mother about my father’s identity and she kept on saying she does not know his name, she doesn’t even know where he came from and said the surname was Tshabalala and he was looking after the prisoners at Snappie farm.

I went to Delmas to try and find him or his family, it was confirmed by some people we met there that he use to look after prisoners, the farm owner was called Snappie and he was looking after prisoners who were brought to the farms on daily basis to work. Apparently when there was no more work to be done on the farms almost everybody from Ga- Mogashoa went back with exception of my mother. From what I had my maternal grand mother went to get her as they heard that she was pregnant and as they leave the farm owner ( Snappie) promised to come and pay damage but that never happen.

I was also told that he had a brother who worked at the mortuary at Old Springs Hospital near the bridge and it has been since moved to Tsakane. His name was either Phineus or Philemon or Phanuel Tshabalala.

From what I had they said he was from Bloemfontein and his name was Matrosie Tshabalala. He has since passed away but they could not tell me which year. They also indicated that he was buried at Elloff and the farm owner was called MAZINYO and he wouldn’t let them in to the grave side.
This if my 3rd attemp contacting you hopefully this time you will receive my story.
Hope you will be able to help me find my family.
